HENRY INGLIS
Henry Inglis is an award-winning writer/director and brilliant comedy editor. He was a founding member of Mad Kids alongside Lauren and together they have developed and produced 12 comedy projects. Henry’s viral hits, It’s a Snap! (3 million hits) and Set Yourself Free (20 million hits) have garnered him celebrity fans including Dan Harmon, creator of Rick & Morty and Christopher McQuarrie, screenwriter of The Usual Suspects. In 2017, he wrote, directed and edited Small Town Hackers for Saturday Night Live’s digital platform Above Average, for which he won the 2018 ADG Award for Best Direction of an Online Comedy Project. He is currently developing a number of new comedy projects with Galactic Baby.
ZOE PEPPER
Zoe is an award-winning writer/director on the rise, following ten years as one of Western Australia’s top theatre directors. Lauren and Zoe have joined forces on three projects to date. LIFT (2019) is a rom com created by and starring Lucy Durack, produced by Lauren and directed by Zoe, which premiered on 10Peach on Valentine’s Day 2019. The Big Spaghetti (2019) and Mystic Pines (2020) were both directed and co-written by Zoe, with Lauren as Executive Producer. The Big Spaghetti premiered in the USA at Slamdance Film Festival and won Zoe the 2019 ADG Award for Best Direction of an Online Comedy. Zoe is currently developing her debut feature film, Secret Sauce, with Galactic Baby - a psychological drama which she is co-writing with Adriane Daff.
ADRIANE DAFF
Adriane Daff is an actor, writer and theatre deviser who has starred in a number of Lauren’s productions including the AACTA-nominated Small Town Hackers (2017), DAFUQ? (2016), The Big Spaghetti (2019) and Mystic Pines (2020) - the latter two were both co-written by Adriane with Lauren as Executive Producer. Adriane is one of the founding artists of The Last Great Hunt and is the co-creator of a number of acclaimed theatre productions including Lé Nør and The Irresistible. In 2018, she won a PAWA for Best Actress for The Irresistible and Best Actress in the ‘Next Gen Webfest’ for The Big Spaghetti. Adriane is currently developing her debut feature film with Galactic Baby - a psychological drama which she is co-writing with Zoe Pepper.
TARYNE LAFFAR
Taryne Laffar is a producer, writer, director and casting director who descends from the Bardi and Jabbir Jabbir nations in Western Australia. She was the Series Producer of ABC iview indigenous comedy series, KGB (2019) alongside Lauren as Executive Producer. In 2007, Taryne wrote and directed her first documentary, Who Paintin’ Dis Wandjina? and her filmmaking credits include Bran Nue Dae, Mad Bastards, Stone Bros, A Few Less Men, Go Karts, Jandamarra’s War, Yagan and On Country Kitchen. Since partnering on KGB, Taryne and Lauren have a number of projects and initiatives in development together. Taryne was recently selected for SPA’s prestigious ‘Ones to Watch’ program for 2019 and is currently in production of a new documentary for NITV.
KODIE BEDFORD
Kodie is a writer on the rise with an impressive list of screenwriting credits including Mystery Road, Robbie Hood, Grace Beside Me and Squinters, which she worked on alongside Lauren as Series Producer for Jungle Entertainment. Kodie made her directorial debut with the short film, Scout as part of the ABC’s Dark Place horror anthology, which has been nominated for Short Film Production of the Year at the 2019 SPA Awards. Kodie was also the Script Editor for KGB, Lauren’s most recent comedy series which premiered on ABC iview in July 2019. She is currently developing a horror feature film with Galactic Baby, which she’s co-writing with Bjorn Stewart.
BJORN STEWART
Bjorn Stewart is a triple-threat actor/writer/director and star of KGB, Lauren’s most recent comedy series which premiered on ABC iview in July 2019. Bjorn is a writer and cast member of the Logie-nominated series Black Comedy and has also appeared in Foxtel’s The Slot as well as ABC’s Get Krack!n and Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am and the darkly comic schlock horror flick, Red Christmas. Bjorn wrote and directed Killer Native for the Dark Place horror anthology which is set to premiere on ABC for Halloween 2019. Bjorn is currently developing a horror feature film with Galactic Baby, which he’s co-writing with Kodie Bedford.
