MYSTIC PINES

Mystic Pines is the debut short film from writer/director Zoe Pepper (The Irresistible, The Big Spaghetti, LIFT) and writer/performer Adriane Daff (The Irresistible, The Big Spaghetti, Le Nor) and produced by SPA Ones to Watch alumni, Cody Greenwood (Under the Volcano) of RUSH. Mystic Pines is set to make its world premiere on the festival circuit in 2020.

Sarena (Adriane Daff) seeks out a mysterious psychological treatment that gives her the courage to stand up for herself. Armed with this new sense of agency, Sarena and her brother make their annual outing to buy the family Christmas tree. This year, Sarena is not content to ride shotgun to her brother’s decisions.
